Are you wondering how you can impact your child's education with a financial donation?
Bins Needed
You know all of those rubbermaid bins stacked up in your basement and attic? We'd love to help clear up some space in your house by taking them off your hands! The bigger, the better, but we will accept all sizes. As our students become more engaged in STEAM challenges this year, they will need a wide variety of materials and resources. We are working hard to collect, organize, and contain all the supplies we are receiving. Any buckets/bins you are willing to donate would be so appreciated!
Looking for old phones!
Do you have an old iPhone taking up space in your junk drawer? If so, we'd gladly take it off your hands for you! In an effort to bring more real-world, life-like experiences to our students, we're excited to get our students involved in Virtual and Augmented Reality. We have the VR headsets, but we are in need of the devices which run the apps. Please feel free to contact me ([email protected]) or Mrs. Uciferri ([email protected]) with questions.
Are you interested in getting involved or helping out?
Check back often for updates!
*Do you have old keys or locks? Instead of throwing them away, considering sending them to school with your child C/O Alexa Dean in room 102. Locks DO NOT have to have the matching key... Keys DO NOT have to have the matching lock! We'll use a variety of locks and keys throughout the year in our Pitner Escape Classroom. Students will attempt to solve puzzles, riddles, and problems related to their core content standards to "escape" the room!
*Are you looking for volunteer opportunities? I'll be creating the challenges for our Escape Classroom which align to core content standards. If you are good at creating puzzles, riddles, or challenges and you'd like to help set up the next one, please e-mail me at [email protected]
